Dale Raxter - Your Nantahala Guide

Dale Raxter is a Native American and also a Nantahala Native with years of fishing experinece on Nantahala Lake. Dale is a retired Park Ranger, and worked for 13 years for the National Park Service in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park as a certified boating instructor and a Wildlife Technician.

Dale has great knowledge of our area lakes, species of fish, size and limit requirements, bait and tackle, as well as license and permit requirements.

Nantahala Native Guide Service

Nantahala Guides provides guided fishing and sightseeing trips on Nantahala, Fontana, Hiawassee, Santeetlah, and Nottely Lakes. Dale Raxter has all the knowledge needed to provide you with a safe, fun-filled fishing trip or a leisurely boat tour.

Nantahala Native Guide Service will provide saftey vests, fishing gear and tackle, and snacks (unless you prefer to bring your own). Target species are smallmouth and largemouth bass, stripers, yellow perch, walleye, kokanee salmon, and steelhead trout. Morning, evening, and night trips are available.
